If I have an at will oral agreement in Tx to rent a room in personal residence & they have given 30 days written notice, yet haven't paid October's rent what are my legal rights to get them out of my home?
 
You give them 3 days notice to pay or vacate, then you file for eviction in court. See 24.005 Notice to Vacate:

2015 Texas Statutes :: PROPERTY CODE :: TITLE 4 - ACTIONS AND REMEDIES :: CHAPTER 24 - FORCIBLE ENTRY AND DETAINER

If they happen to leave before you complete the eviction, continue the process and get your writ of possession and judgment for any costs.

That eviction becomes public record and, while you might not see any money, may give them credit problems in the future.

Do yourself a favor and never rent part of your house to anybody else. I used to have 3 rentals across town that gave me grief. The though of having a tenant in my own house gave me the heebie jeebies.
