Bogus Lanlord ?

this guy that was trying to raise our rent and trying to get us to sign a lease
we found out he hasent even bought this property . he gave us a lease to sign that was signed by him on the 19th and i have a copy isn't this fraud? we live in florida and no we didnt sign it and he is still bugging us.

If he does not own property or is not acting on behalf of owner he does not have authority to ask you to sign lease. Whether it reaches the level of fraud is up to authorties.
