my girlfriend was taking one of our elderlyfriends his pain medacation back to him after he had left it at our house after coming to visit he relized after getting home while on the way to taqke it to him she got pulled over by gsp got locked up for driving on suspended license and charged with poss of class 3 drugs whice wqas or friends [george] in his bottle he signed affi stating so in front of notarey who signed and stamped it wont they have to drop this charge ?

All a notary's stamp does is confirm that the person whose signature appears is indeed the person he claims to be. A notary's stamp does not attest to the truth of what was signed, nor does it create any kind of legal obligation (particularly on the state).

So no, such a signed statement, even notarized, does NOT mean that they will have to drop the charge.

I'm not saying they won't drop it, but if they do, it will NOT be because this statement forced them to do so.

FYI, I am a former notary.

It is likely the prosecutor will take the position he might have sold/given them to her and is now covering his and her tracks. She needs a lawyer.
