My daughter took driver's ed through a private business. We paid $500, which was to include 6 hrs of behind the wheel lessons. She only go 2 hours, then the woman closed her business and I've heard she's filed bankruptcy.
Now we have to sign up somewhere else and pay their fees in order for her to get her remaining 4 hours of behind the wheel sessions w/professional driver's ed instructor.
Can I sue the business that closed for the expenses I'm out - or is her business protected against such cases by bankruptcy laws?
