I signed a contract for a school to recieve tutoring. We agreed upon a predetermined plan to receive my nusing degree as rapidly as posible. Under that understanding I willing signed an agreement with the school and started august 2007.In Dec2007 the director of school refused to honor the written/verbal agreements made prior to signing contracts and said that I had to take courses in her order which If I go her way it will take me 6-8 months longer which is unacceptable. I have been in contact with an individual at main office and have been unsuccessful at resolving the matter. As far as I am concerned we have a breach of contract and I need to get out of the deal but there are loan companies involved and some one needs to repay the loan company their money. I need legal help. is there a breach of contract and how do I get the money already paid out to the loan company. they said they want there money. should i have to pay or is there another way to handle this. Can you please me help.

written/verbal agreements made prior to signing contracts

If the contract is properly worded, anything prior to the contract is not binding. Only an attorney can advise you based on the terms of the contract.
