This weekend I had someone break into my apartment while i was home and i had to run out my back door barely dressed and had to run to my neighbors to get help. In short, it was the most terrifying expereince I never thought I would have to live through, luckily nothing was stolen because we were able to scare him out later on but it took the cops over n hour to get to me and they apologized that the dispatch didnt inform them correctly other wise they would have been there but the man came back multiple times within 45 mins which would have been an ample amount of time to catch the indtruder but it was complete negligence on their end.
As for my lease, my landlord is very nice but the area i live in, as a 23 year old girl, is very dangerus and there are threateneing things happening alot. It is right across from ASU but there are transients everywhere. This man wasn;t a bum but was on drug sor something when he broke in and I feel so unsafe here I can't get over it. In this case is there any way I am able to terminate my lease early if I give proper notice?
