breaking a rental lease legally

i jus sign a lease for a year and i would like to break the lease legally with no harm to both parties involved the apartment complex and myself i live in houston tx and not sure what the law is here when dealing with the above

Get the landlord's consent and terminate the lease mutually. That's the easiest way.
