Breaking Lease due to loud music

When we moved into the apartment complex that we now live in, we advised the leasing agent of our prior problem at our other compex. We told her we did not want to experience the same stressful atmosphere that we had we had to live in before. She stated that we would not experience the same issues. To our suprise it started the first day we moved in. We have now been here for two months, and now are trying to break our lease. We've complained to the management and had them witness the issues and have also written letters to them. nothing changes. Can we break our lease due to the leasing agent lying to us about the loud parties and loud music.

Unfortunately no, but you can ask them to help you find another unit for you to move into since they seem to be unable to keep things under control at the other unit.
