breaking window

When I move in the duplex the window was broken however, the glass wasn't . While my husband was trying to open the window it slipped and the glass breaks. Who is responsible for the repairs my husband or the landlord.

Likely your husband since he tried to open a broken window (I'm not sure what you mean that the window was broken but the glass wasn't...I'm assuming you mean there was some problem with the framing around the window?).

I agree... when you noticed the window was broken you should have pointed itout to the landlord and not messed with it.
However,, if your landlord was aware of the broken window, he may still fix it for you... but don't count on it.
