my brother was cited for driving with a suspended license a few years ago in the village of mariemont, ohio. He is mentally ill and refuses to try to take care of the problem since a warrant has been issued. He doesnt have the cleanest driving record or criminal record for that matter, but I really want to try to help him out. Is there any way that I would be able to go and act on his behalf to find out what the judgement of the case would be and try to soften the blow so that he will be able to try to seek the medical services which he needs to function normally. the police department did not want to help me, they just told me to bring him in. Please tell me I can do this without him going to jail. Thanks.

Consult an attorney. You can gather information, but you cannot act on his behalf as far as representing him in any court matters. Only an attorney can do that.
