Hi there,
Just had a question regarding injury caused by possible malpractice in Vancouver, BC. I had a cast put on my foot approximately 7 weeks ago. Last week after x-rays I was able to get it removed and was eager to get back into my life. Part of the way through I started to feel an intense pinching/slicing feeling and alerted the doctor immediately. She talked it on her hand and assured my it was causing no damage and maybe just irritating the sensitive skin. Upon removal of the cast however, where she had used the saw left multiple long, deep and in somplaces quite wide burns/cuts to my shin and top of foot. It's now more painful than when I had the cast on to walk around. I'm not sure if this adds to anything, but also being a type 1 diabetic, foot injuries are incredibly sensitive and will leave permanently scars. Is there any legal recourse to this?
