Hi,
I'm currently involved or a member of a volunteer organization that has cameras set up for security purposes to prevent misconduct of members breaking rules and damaging property. The video is recorded on a standard VHS Tape. My question is if a member is caught on camera breaking a rule and that such member can be identified does there have to be a timestamp on the camera? In this situation the time was not a factor of what the member did. Also it was brought up about the tape being altered or tampered with, but doesn't the accused have to prove if it was instead of the prosecuting party?

Thanks, bratley46

I would think this question would be a no brainer for an attorney to answer, but no one has stepped up to the plate yet to comment, give an opinion or answer. I would appreciate if someone could please help.
