My mother passed away 6 years ago. We did not get a long to say the least. She disinherited me. My question is ... my dad died in 1986. He had remarried 2 times after my mom. My parents were married for 15 years, 2nd wife- 8 yrs, the 3rd-3 yrs. Would my mom have received my dad's social security, being married to him the longest? If that is the case, wouldn't I be entitled to half of my dad's social secutity? Even though I was disinherited by my mom?

Q: Would my mom have received my dad's social security, being married to him the longest?

A: No.

If you worked and are age 65/68 depending on law you fall under, you would be entitled to your own Social Security. http://www.ssa.gov/OP_Home/ssact/comp-toc.htm
If you are disabled then you could apply for disability benefits under SS under your own work history.
You do not inherit Social Security. Is that what you wanted to know?

Unless you are a minor right now, you likley are not entitled to anything. Survivor benefits would go to his spouse and surviving minor children.
