Can I draw a "salary" from selling the business inventory in my father's estate?

My father passed away in august. He did not have many assets besides a vehicle and his business inventory. He was a self employed salesman. I filed the paperwork for the inventory report with the courts. Since then, I have been working on selling the business inventory. Am I able to draw a "salary" from this work? Shipping costs are coming out of the business but it takes my time, gas, etc to drive to the storage location, fill orders, etc. How is the business handled in this case?
Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry to learn of your loss.
I pray that god will comfort you in this hour of grief.

Have you been appointed to serve as the executor of his estate?
If you have, you shouldn't be drawing compensation from the assets of the estate, the way you suggest or envision.
Even if you aren't the executor, you may be setting yourself up for some "issues".
You can claim reimbursement for expenses to settle your dad's estate.
It isn't as easy as you make it sound.
I suggest you speak with the court, the executor, or an attorney (if you're the executor).
The initial consulattion is normally free.
