Okay, so last year my sister lost custody of her kids because she was homeless. My sister did not tell me this for several weeks. I didn't know she was homeless, nor did I know that she lost custody of her kids. Since she lost custody, her husband's grandmother filed for custody. Since I did not know I wasn't able to file and fight her for them. My sister and her husband are trying to get their life back on track. Until then, I would like custody of the children. The great-grandmother doesn't make them brush their teeth, doesnt worry about their grades, sends them to school in dirty clothes, and uses them as a meal ticket. Can I apply for custody? I was trying to wait until I finished graduate school.
