I have a question concerning about a car.

I have a car that is under my name i had a licence plate and insurance under my name and the title is under my name but my younger sister bought it cash from a private seller for herself and boyfriend. I got it insured and a licence plate while she tried to get her licence because at that time she didn't have a licence and her boyfriend had a suspended licence. And I wanted to know if I could sale it or get rid of it because its just sitting on my property abandoned i told her to get it changed out of my name but so far since August of last year she has not made an effort to do so. But she has threaten me to take me to court if i sale it or do anything to it.

And my question is can I sale it or get rid of it without getting in legal trouble or sent to court?

Thank You So Much,
Evalina

LEGALLY the car is YOURS, and YOURS alone!

Morally, well that is for you and God to discuss.

LEGALLY, you can do ANYTHING you wish to do with that car!

If you sell the car, any money you receive you can share with your sister, or keep it all for yourself!!!!

You sister has no LEGAL basis on which she can prevail in a lawsuit, IF things are as you indicate them to be.

Yes, sell it.If you want to keep your sister off your back then give her back whatever she paid for the car minus your own expenses. If your only interest is getting it off the property then there shouldn't be much debate over who gets the money. If you sell and keep the money she may try to sue you over it- though she would have a difficult time trying to make her case.
