I promised a transfer within a well known company. The conditions were I first handle another store which was short staffed and second apply for the store I wanted to go to on our intranet. I did everythimg that was asked of me. I got the transfer withim a momth of being there and got a offer letter for a FULL TIME position. I started the new store a month after receiving the letter and noticed my benefits were affected and im being charged 400 per pay check bi weekly for my benefits. Someone made a mistake and put me as a part timer. I have exhausted all my options within my company and everyone keeps passing my situation to someone else. I have the offer letter and its been 4 months 8 pay checks and im struggling with my bills what can I do?

To answer your question, no, you cannot sue your employer for lying. Particularly because I'm not seeing that the employer lied. A mistake was made, certainly, but that's not the same thing as a lie. You said yourself, someone made a mistake.

Who have you spoken with? What departments?
