My mother and I had an agreement..(not on written documents) a mouth of word agreement.
I am a freshman @ Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. The agreement with my mother and myself was that if I babysat my toddler sister that she would pay for my education. Before this I was gettin paid $25 a day to watch her for a 12 hour shift! Wednesday- Sunday. But we made the agreement that if I watched her, she would pay for my education. July 29, me and my mother got into a altercation where she kicked me out the house and told me she wasnt paying for me to go to school. I started school on the 17th of Aug.. Im gratefully here getting my education without her help. But an agreement is an agreement, so there fore since I put in the time and effort of watching her daughter (my sister) should she be giving me the money that is due to me? I did my part of the bargining, and she didnt go thru with the rest of the agreement. Can I take her to small claims court?
