One chiropractor in WA state ran a promotion and advertisement said only $1 for exam and x-ray and after exam and x-ray on that day I asked for a statement and it showed total charge per service (i.e. x-ray and exam) and next column it showed patient write off of equivalent amount and net total is $1 which I already paid on the same day of service so balance is zero. Now I am suspicious about their intention when they mentioned 'write off' ...if they write off anything ...can they have tax deduction of equivalent amount and can they report this write off to my credit report to damage my credit score? please note that I still have a copy of their promotional ad which says only $1 for exam and x-ray

It is not something that will ever show up on your credit report.

If they are doing anything shady with taxes then that is between them and the IRS. I suspect they gave you some basic services for $1 just to try to lure you as a new and repeating patient.
