Okay so here is my current situation. I moved in with a new roommate a month ago. Some of her stuff (and mine but that doesn't matter in her head) went missing. She thinks it was me because I had previously taken a selfies in one of her dresses(I was doing laundry and it was so cute so I couldn't resist( I could have I just wanted to take a pic in her cute dress..I know it's wrong)) and now she thinks I have all of her thing's. I gave her permission to go through my stuff, and explained to her the worth of her tj maxx clothes in the consignment world. Irregardless she asked me to move out and I did. She has been threatening me to press charges and because I deposited a check she wrote me when I moved out before confirming with her that she had the money she wants to do so. I have none of her things.. can she press charges for that? I had multiple people over throughout this month and she wants to blame either me or my close friend that spent the night ONCE!

Let her go and press charges a crummy public defender should be able to win that case sure to lack of evidence. Note: public defenders are not crummy they can very in skill as the word crummy suggested.

She would not get very far of she complained to law enforcement about this. They simply would not care.
She could try to sue you in small claims, but as long as you show up to defend yourself she would not likely get far there either if it is as you describe.
As for the check, it is her own fault for writing a check with insufficient funds. She loses there also.
Forget about it and move on with your life. If you need another roommate I suggest you get a kitty.
