My boss has taken money out of my final pay. She said that I owed her $358. However I disagree with this amount but she has already taken it out and given me the remaining money. Can she do this by law?. And what can I do now that she has already taken it?

The jurisdiction IS applicable and we HAVE to know what state you worked in, because the laws regarding deductions from pay are state-specific.

And what was the amount supposed to be for?
