Can we charge customer for collection fees ?

We are nation wide providers of storage units. Per our contract customer's are liable to pay any legal/ additional fee ouccring on thier account.
But when can we charge it, while we place them for collection or after they are out of collection ? ? ?

Honestly, If you are a nationwide company, you should probably seek out an attorney that specializes in this area, as you may be dealing with different laws from multiple states, regarding your fees.

Also, these forums are mostly meant for people that have a hard time paying for costly attorney fees, not for a large corporation/company to be able to save some money on free advice.

My guess is that you have a franchise of a Nationwide company, not that you are the owner of the nationwide company. In that case you better ask the legal department of the franchiser because anything you do in their name may jeopardize your franchise.
