You might be able to get it expunged, insofar as Washington state is concerned.

Federal firearms laws prohibit ANYONE convicted of ANY level of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE from owning, buying, touching, kissing, rubbing, cleaning, loading, or storing a firearm.
