Canceling someone else's cruise

If someone hacks into someone's email and cancels a cruise they booked without their permission or them knowing. How much trouble can you get in

If someone doesn't blab, no one will ever know. Just sayin'

But if someone is able to trace who hacked the email and cancelled the cruise, the hacker could become responsible for the cost.

Did this action cause anyone to lose money or otherwise cause damage?

When you say "hacked" how do you mean the email was accessed?

Agree, why? Is this person an adult?

My guess, the "hacker" once dated the "hackee".
The "hacker" and "hackee" are no longer involved.
The "hackee" is now hooked up with another juicy squeeze.
The "hacker" sought to exact revenge to teach the "hackee" a "lesson", as in spoil her/his fun and cost her/him money.
Or, the "hackee" thought this would yield hours of "giggles, titters, guffaws, and fun".

That would be my guess as well, AJ.

We never truly know, but guessing can be amusing at times.
Its like Christmas when I was a kid, and a week before Christmas, mom would let us guess what was in one of our wrapped gifts.
If we guessed correctly, we'd get to open it right then and there.
I never guessed correctly. LOL
