Five days ago I bought a 23 thousand dollar timeshare. I financed it through the company. I gave a down payment of 12 hundred dollars. The company said "no buy backs," but I dont want to sell it back. I just want to "give it" back to them and let them keep the 12 hundred because I can no longer afford it. Can I do that, or am I oligated to now pay this thing off in full? I have not used the timeshare or used any benefits that come long with it what so ever.

Thank you every much.

I have kept digging and have found the answer myself. Under the Virgina Timeshare Act, I have 7 calendar days to cancel the contract and get my deposit back! This right shall not be waverable by myself as the puchaser and any verbiage in the contract trying to null this right is void!! Thank you JESUS!!!!
