o.k. i found the best seller for a new engine for a car. while asking for the price for the engine i commented all the problems i had with the car and the mechanic said yes it will be the engine just bring the car in ill charge you $$$$$ for the engine, installation and everything to get your car running 6 months pass and nothing was done with my car ecxep that the engine was off. every week i called to see how my car was going and all they said was that the car was almost done. after i got tired to see nothing was happening to my car i threatened them to take them to court. after that like in two weeks i was told the car was fixed and when i got to the shop i was told to sign a receipts for some other parts and labor they installed to the car i refused to sign without seeing my car working properly. then we went to try the car and guess what? the car wasn't working and they still wanted to charge me for all labor and extra parts they installed to my car without my authorization. i left and i took them to court i lost because i was claiming to get $$$$$ to pay other mechanic to fix my car. the amount of money i was asking was an estimate from other mechanics to repair my car anyways the ruling was to pay off the money from the original agreement and to get my car fixed. next 2 days i take the rest of the money and this person still want to charge me for extra labor and parts.i need to take hem to court again i have all the paper work receipts and some BAR documents too. the final question is what should i do and what type of compensation can i get for being waiting for more than 1 1/2 years to get my car back.
