1). The date is no where on the contract, except where the contract number goes, which could be the contract number for all anyone knows.
2). Where it says.. YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE WILL BE,
under it is says WHEN PAYMENTS ARE DUE:
"Every 1st of $395.00
5 days to make payment
MONTHLY BEGINNING if not we will charge $25.00 per week
^
It is illiterate. It does not say the month the payments start. just every 1st of $395.00 which doesnt make sense.
3). Under ITEMIZATION OF AMOUNT FINANCED UNDER
1.TOTAL CASH PRICE
Letter B. DOCUMENT PREPARATION FEE.........$ 100.00 WAS THERE BUT HAND WRITTEN CHANGED TO .....$50.00 (B) (NOT A GOVERNMENT FEE)
^
So that copy of my contract i gave to you, was the PHOTO COPY of my contract the car dealer gave to me.(that I asked for before I got the car back from ex) I didn't notice until a couple days ago that on my ACTUAL contract, it just says $100.00. .. so before they gave me a copy of the contract, they crossed out the 100 and changed it to 50. by law it's 50. they did tell me after i got the car back that they overcharged me and would give me that back but i told them id pick it up when i ever went back down there (cuz I dont want them to know where I live). so they tampered with the contract and gave me the newely changed photocopy.
4). Now, under the same section:
Under ITEMIZATION OF AMOUNT FINANCED UNDER
6. TOTAL DOWN PAYMENT
Letter A. TRADE IN VALUE.....$3,500.-
^
This is the part I'm a little iffy about. I don't remember if we gave them a trade in of our old car, or used the money we got from selling it as a down payment from someone else. I think we gave them their money back and went to the dealership with it, I'm not sure. It kinda draws a haze/blank over that period of time.
But either way, on the cash receipt (that I have, u haven't seen) it also shows that instead of it being marked as a trade in on the receipt, they marked it that we gave then cash.
If we did give them our old car, they should have filled in the blank lines under the trade in of the $3,500.-
And finally 5.) This part you can't see because the PHOTO COPY part they gave me cut off the bottom part and i did not notice this until I looked at my ACTUAL contract again. So, as you can see at the bottom of the page, Dirk and I signed the contract, but did not date it. And also on my contract not only did the seller not date it, but they left their part blank and didn't sign it at all.
I don't know if that's a huge thing or not, but they didn't even sign their own contract. Does it still make it legit? and the tampering (price adj. they did on the contract) and not received the 50 back from it, cant be right for them to do that either.
