I am from NM and my husband let his best friends from high school take over payments on our car. He has been friends with them for 30 years knowing this doesn't mean I agree with it. They have paid on the vehicle for 2 years but I found that they have been late every month racking up late fees to the tune of $297 and we have found that they moved dropping the insurance and now refuse to tell us where they live. I received notice that they are 3 months behind on the car. I know where they work in this new town but do not have a phone number to there house. I have emailed them and contacted them at work but they still refuse to cooperate. I have no idea what to do. Please if anyone knows the best plan please fill me in.

Thank you for your time

But how do I sue them when I do not have an address to serve them??? And the vehicle still has to be paid off.... should I report the car as stolen to recover it???

No because the car is not stolen you gave them permission to drive it-- You need to call a repo company and repo it from where they work-- the repo man will skip trace them to the house-- you need the car sale the car and sue for whatever loss you incur over this -- if you dont repo it the finance company will
