on Friday March 28 2014 we were pulled over for a traffic violation come to find out the license was suspended which led to the vehicle being impounded on the 30 day hold the finance company picked up the vehicle from the impound yard while we got clearance to retrieve the vehicle on April 7 2014 San Bernardino police department issues a release on the vehicle from the 30 day notice on the hold Credit Acceptance which is our finance company is holding the vehicle and refuses to release the vehicle that because they have to hold it for the complete 30 daysif the police department has issued a release why won't the finance company release it we have faxed over paperwork to the finance company from the police department stating that the 30 day hold has been lifted and the vehicle can be released... the finance company is now telling us that there is no guarantee that they will hold the vehicle for the complete 30 days but it has been sent to an auction site and it could be sold any day can they do this if finance company hadn't picked up the vehicle from the impound yard we could have walked over to the impound yard with the police release paperwork and simply pick up the vehicle so now why are they making it so difficult and what can we do about it to get our vehicle back

There is only one entity that knows what they did, and why they did it, the finance company.
I'm sure you have your suspicions.
No need to reveal more of your private business affairs in public.
I suggest you visit the offices of the finance company and discuss this situation with someone in charge.
You could also try calling the company, and request to speak with a manager.
If the finance company has breached the contract, you can take all of your documentation to a lawyer in yoru county and discuss the entire situation with said lawyer.

It seems that this was not the first notice of the suspended license. The vehicle would not have been towed if notification of the suspension was needed.
If, however, this truly was the first notification, then the citation likely will not hold up and you can seek your damages regarding the tow in court.
I suggest you go to the DMV and find out what date they have that the suspension went in effect and what day and in which manner you were notified.
