just as the title suggests, I was caught while leaving the store. Do you know if the diversion program is offered in Hamilton county in cincinnati ohio? what about the nasp program. I'm thinking about enrolling in it before my court date which is 7/20. Also, I was planning to go to court earlier than I am supposed to in the hopes of getting the judge to see that I am facing the charges against me asap.

I am applying for financial aid for this school year, so will this affect my ability to recieve such aid? I am a college athlete that goes to an expensive school...I have talked to a few lawyers, but I have $2000 to my name and cannot afford to hire a private lawyer. Any and all advice is welcome. I was trying to take $58 dollars worth of merchandise. I am hoping to be able to get a pre-trial diversion, but can I request that program w/o requesting a public attorney?

what will the restitution costs be? I haven't told anyone, including parents, about this because I am the one that committed the crime and I will face it like a man I am just looking for all the help I can get first.

Your Attorney will know for sure if Diversion is available in your county. Far as NASP goes you can find their program at their website
