Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Caught shop lifting Police was not called

i was just caught shoplifting in minnesota at a grocery store
He took a picture of me and my id
he told me it will not go in my records
is it true
he told me i get a letter in mail & they r going to fine me 50$
i dont mind paying the fine
is it true it will not go in my records


i am scared my husband will kill me if it goes in my records
my daughter was there with me will she be responsible
too she is just 4 yrs not aware whats happening
