Today I got caught shoplifting. I don't know what caused me to do such a stupid nonsensical thing. All I know is that I have probably learnt one of the biggest lessons of my life.
Anyways, the store guard took me upstairs, called the police (who came over). The store gave me a letter saying I was banned from the store, took down details of me (name, address, phone number), and a photograph too, and that was it. I wasn't fingerprinted, and I wasn't given a court date. The police were involved but I didn't have to sign anything. But, the police told me that I will receive the phone call or mail for going to the court, pay fine, and i probably will be sent back my country.
The reason I am scared now is that they really sent me back to my country?but it's just my first time and I never have any bad record in my file. What should I do in this case?
