Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Caught shoplifting

So I was caught shoplifting an item at a retail store by the Lost prevention. I was written off as a warning and the police was there too. I told them I would never steal again. But previously I stole at another retail store (not the same company) and weren't caught that time. Should I expect to hear a knock on my door by the police with a warrant for shoplifting?

Is it true that the retail store has to see all the following to arrest you? Can they use security camera's?

Point of concealment

point of exit (that you took the thing out of the store)

and 100% that you didnt put it anywhere else

It really doesnt matter since they let you go with a warning
