Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Caught stealing - first time offense

I got caught stealing $143.41 worth of clothes at Macy's. I was given a $350 fine and was told that I would be sent a court date. How long does it take to get that?


This is my first offense, and I'm really nervous that I might lose my job.
I know that I'm stupid, and immature for doing it, but I would really like to avoid receiving a misdemeanor charge as I applied for Disney World's College Internship.


I know everyone says this, but I am a good kid. I don't ever do anything wrong, and I made a mistake.

If your employer find sout he can terminate you. Thats up to employer Disney is pretty tough on this. Talk to a Lawyer and discuss Diversion a sone option to your case. I would also suggest you enroll in an Anti Shoplifting course for two reasons

A. Judge will surelylook kindly upon your efforts

B. Disney will likely see your eforts to right your wrong and coud forgive the action
