Hello i am new to this site. I hope this will be posted in the correct area of the forum. Recentley i took the ccw certification. I passed. However my husband brought up the fact that i had several things on my record that may stop me from obtaining my permit.
These violations happned over 25 years ago. The one that may stop me is violation 4729.51. I believe that this was dropped to misdamenor. Im not sure if that matters. I had no drugs on me. My brother had called asked me to pick up a script for a friend that didnt have a car. When i walked in and said the name i was arrested. I find ourt later that my brother had been forging scripts and had been calling that drug store. So when i went they got me not him.I am able to purchase a gun here in ohio. I was just wondering befor i paid the money for a background check for my permit if i was going to be turned down? Please help. Thank you.
