I purchased a dealership certified 2015 vehicle on 2-13-16 and discovered today that it had exposed live wires in the back of the vehicle. I have had the issue fixed but what can I do to hold the dealership accountable for their negligence?

Who fixed the vehicle - the dealership or some place other?

Accountable for what? Nothing bad happened to you.

If the car was still under warranty the wiring should have been fixed by the dealer under warranty. Did you bring the car to the dealer for the warranty work? If not, and you voluntarily just paid for the repair on your own, all you can do is ask the dealer for reimbursement of the repair bill.

Just understand that the dealer has no obligation to reimburse you so if you don't get the money you'll just have to get over it and move on.

Next time something go wrong under warranty, take it to the dealer first.
