HI there....
My mother is currently under chapter 13. She claims she cannot get out of it. She says she wants to move out But that Chapter 13 won't let her.
My mother has no running water in the house. Her pipes/plumbing are in need of repair. She seems not able to afford to get it done. Her waters bills were averaging over a $100.00 a month. I recall paying a few of those for her. So she just quit paying the bills and they eventually just cut her off about 6 months ago.
Beside there not being water in the home, I feel real strongly that if the city were to see her home they would Condemn it. I already know it's a fire hazard.
Unfortunately my mother never was a good housekeeper.
If the city were to condemn her house, would she be able to get out of Chapter 13?
