So I was charged for theft.. a hat that cost 27$ I was arrested and released but now have a court date on June 1st the only problem is I live in Canada. The cops who arrested me said for me to give the address of where I was staying so they did not have to keep me in jail. I have no way of making it back for my court date ... who can show up for me to represent me ??>>> or wht should I do in this situation?

If you do not show up, an arrest warrant will likely be issued for your arrest. If you return to the United States you could be arrested.
Alternatively, you might be able to hire an attorney who can handle the matter for you ... whether you can plead guilty and pay a fine from long distance without an actual appearance is doubtful, but a local attorney where this occurred could answer that question for you.
