CHEATED " A Broken Contract"

I recently went to purchase a vehicle, the salesman with whom we had been working, took see the vehicle that he said we would be interested in. We liked that car, it had all the bells and whistle and we wanted to buy it. We sat down with the salesman. I put $100 deposit down on the car he filled out some papers spoked with manager (and his manager came and spoke to us and shook our hands. They faxed the neccessary papers to our banker because we were all ready preapproved. Then, the salesman said he would go put the sold tag on car in that back so it does not get sold.

We came back the following day finallize and test drive the car. The salesman approached us, and told us they sold our car to someone else. That was very devastating. They said they would try to talk to the manage/owner and he said it was already sold. We went home. The next morning we called the dealership to speak to the manager, but we were not allowed to, but instead a worker name Angle listened, then told that was not a contract and hungup.

You're lucky.

The car would have probably broken down next week anyway.

Never put a deposit on anything.

Deposits are just a way to scam money out of you and make you buy something that you might not want after thinking about it.

You could have placed a $5,000 deposit.

You weren't that stupid, because you only left a $100.00 deposit.

Next time you know, don't pay one dime until everyone has signed the contract, and the THING you're buying is in YOUR possession.

If that doesn't work for the seller, don't do the deal.

If Joe's Great Cars is selling a 1999 Toyota, you can best believe its NOT the only one in the world.

If Joe doesn't want to respect your wishes, tell Joe goodbye.
