Hi. I have a question and not sure if this is the right area to be asking. We recently moved to Tennessee and my 17yr old son stayed behind with a friend and his parent. He has a full time job and simply didnt want to give up his school, friends and job. We moved to a town of about 700 and jobs are extremely limited. My question is this. Can we be charged with Child abandonment?. We keep in touch with him. His grandparents are there if he ever needs anything.
