My wife took our 4yo on a road trip. I expected her to return but she left the state and is staying out of state now and telling me she is not returning. We had started divorce process about 2 months ago but it is not finalized. She has had our child for coming on 2 months now. I would like to have him be able to visit here with my family for a month this summer before school starts. She is refusing. Do I have any legal recourse to contact authorities to force her to bring him back? What are the laws regarding this kind of situation? I can provide more details as requested.
