child asks to live with non-custodial parent

My 13 yr. old has been begging me to let him come live with me and my wife and my ex has finally agreed. My concern is, can this happen immediately before I hire an attorney to legally change the child support ruling? It would be great if he can arrive in time to start the school year here. I'm very concerned my Ex will claim I co-erced him or something because she is evil enough to do that. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I strongly suggest that you consult your attorney right awat so he/she can enter a petition in court (in a timely manner) to have the custodial arrangements changed in time for his school year where you are at. Good Luck!
