Without a lawful court order, an unwed father has no legal rights to child custody, nor any legal duty to pay child support.

Custody of a child of unwed parents is vested legally in the birth mother.

You do not have to allow the putative birth father to have visitation or custody of your child.

Tell him to take you to court to obtain a custody order, and you should counter claim for court ordered child support.
