Child Support, Seperation and Moving out of state

Before moving out of state you would do well to have custody/visitation matters set in a court order, especially if it is your intent to take the children with you. This will help to resolve any conflict later and will help to prevent you from some costly trips back to Texas.

If you take the children a great distance from other parent you can expect them to get longer visits and to pay travel expense

My husband and I are seperation but I am wanting to move out of state. What are my rights as a mother?

Your rights as a mother remain intact.
A divorce didn't divest or strip you of your maternal rights or responsibilities.
You can move anywhere you wish, no permission is required.
The kids, that's another story.
If you take them with you, you're making big trouble if dad puts up a fuss.
