child support

I pay child support for my son who lives in Connecticut. He will be 18 years old in Dec. of this year. I don't have any special arrangements in the divorce decree about the length of paying child support. What is the legal age where I do not have to pay support? The divorce took place in the state of Connecticut.

My understanding is that without a specific decree, child support ends at the age of 18 in Connecticut... but don't quote me!
