Child Visitation to a parent that just commited sexual assault

I just got a letter to "show cause" because my ex( we were married 8 mths) who hasn't paid or is current on support, and I am a single mom also raising a 13yr old(prior marriage), and I have Sole Custody of my 2 yr old. He has visitation but is very difficult to talk to as he gets aggressive and he would be behind bars had I had the strength to press charges when he brutally assaulted and attacked me when I was 4 mths pregnant. I should have fought him instead of agreeing to a visitation schedule and knew it was going to be problems in the future. Now he is lying and saying that I didn't let him do his visits-He is a psychopath and I know that I know that I know, cant put my whole story up here, but he is a psychopath and a pathological liar!!and sexual stalker and uses women and children for his gain, then disposes of them,.So I know its just a game he thinks my son is a toy. Anyway, last Friday I get a call from a woman victim saying that my ex violently raped her, and last year he got a Full Order of Protection put on him in one county at the same time this year, and now this woman, now 2 within a years time..the womans hearing is the same day as mine is, next week the 21st I don't have money to get a lawyer and don't know what to do or whether I need to show up for the "to show cause" court date 11/21/2013...

1. If I tell the judge that they are looking for him and also getting ready to issue a warrant for his arrest..will they postpone my to show cause and make it for another time? or do I need to even be there?

2. I have 0 criminal or speeding tickets I am 43 and I am trying to get back into a criminal justice job--will this affect me?

3. With him going to jail (hopefully) and the 2 FOP can I request that visitation be supervised from here on out and that he not be allowed to take him out of state (7 hours) away due to "psychopath behavior" of his????

***There are 5 of us women all with children that I know of--but I am sure there are many more victims that have never been heard..not to mention two families that said he took their young daughters in his semitruck and raped them as well..***

Please help, my COURT DATE IS NEXT WEEK AND DONT KNOW WHAT I NEED TO DO! or if I should go to the hearing for the Victim so I can testify to my assault and kidnapping he did to me,(but never pressed charges)...I live w that regret daily...especially now
I need to help her so we can put this dangerous man away out of society so he can never hurt children or women again!!

You simply OBEY the court order directing you to appear.

You can get the matter continued by requesting time to HIRE a lawyer.

That often buys you two to four weeks, espcially if you say you need a couple of weeks to get the money to hire the lawyer.

Sometimes the judge will hold a status check weekly to see how you are progressing.

While time passes, the warrant might issue and he could be arrested.

If the time elapses and you still don't have a lawyer, the case wille ventually rersume.

You should use the time to acquaint yourself with how to defend these types of cases.

Know this, however, he could owe YOU $1,000,000 in arrears for child support; he's still entitlked to see his children and the court order must always be obeyed.

So, let him see the kids.

As to whether you denied him or not, let that go.

Simply say he's mistaken, and failed to contact you as required (if that is true), telling the TRUTH is all you have to do.

That isn't hard, and rarely requires a lawyer.

You are also FREE to bring witnesses to testify TRUTHFULLY to support your assertions.

They simply tell the truth, stay to the issues, avoid gossip and opinion.
