to whom this concerns:

my question is this... i want to send a letter to husband of my daughters boyfriends ex. i believe it was she who filed the complaint to the police and they wont tell us who.. but im 99.9 percent sure it was she and arent we entitled to know who filed the complaint? the complaint was for child neglect .. this has been going on for sometime now up until this happened she has kept my grand children out of it but now she has involved them the letter will read as follows
to husband
"up until now your wifes problem with her ex has kept my grand children out of the problem now she has interruted their lives if she continues to involve my grandchildren i will seek legal advice"
---signed or unsigned
is this legal? and should i sign it as the children have two sets of grandparents?and should it be sent registered mail

People who file children's services complaints do not have to give names and children services has no obligation to tell you who filed. Your sending a letter to the suspected person can cause you legal harm. Long as the charges were unfounded or the like its best to leave well enough alone
