Yes. She could. She could ask the court to terminate your rights due to abandonment. It is unfair to expect a child to wait around for SEVEN years while you "change". There is a man willing to except the responsibility for this child...Think about your child's best interest.

Well technically she can maybe prove abandonment. You can certainlly fight it and ask for supervised visits with the child but is it really in the childs best interest to do this?
