choose between child support and credit card payments

What is the worst situation if i do not pay credit card debt so i can pay child support payments?
I know if i do not pay the child support one can end up in jail. I am in Virginia

Obviously your CS payments should come first. If you cannot afford to make your CC payments you should see a debt counsellor.
