my 16 year old received a citation last night and i was researching what it meant and what where the penalties.
i learned that 11357e is for:
HS 11357.e) Except as authorized by law, every person under the age of 18 who possesses not more than 28.5 grams of marijuana, other than concentrated cannabis, upon the grounds of, or within, any school providing instruction in kindergarten or any of grades 1 through 12 during hours the school is open for classes or school-related programs is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to the following dispositions:
(1) A fine of not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250), upon a finding that a first offense has been committed.
But I don't know what the 144S is for. He had a fake ID on him is that what this is?
Also what are the ramification on his record for this citation. does he need to do a preguilty plea under penal code 1000 to go to a treatment program and get the offense expunged from his record after 2 years?
